So every time I spend any length of time on a rough road or trail my change tray rattles open. Does anyone have anything in place to hold it shut? I never ever remember to ditch the tray before I hit the trails and then once it's happened there's no where in the truck to place a handful of coinage.

Front dome light added, light reminder added, door chime mod, added 2nd gen 4runner headrests, grey wire mod, 2lo mod, more later.
I read somewhere in cheap free mods you cut some narrow strips off of a business card and glue them to the tray on the sides where it slides it's suppose to take up the slack and hold the tray tighter.

I think he means the ash tray.

Op I just leave it fairly empty and have like a piece of paper than forces it shut.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
A few layers of tape on the side rails will probably do the job...

Just found this tray which is above parking brake on the 14's. Guess I have a new place for loose change ... I thought it was a fuse box cover.

One strip of electrical tape on each side did it for me. Lasted quite a long time with only being opened a couple of times (by me I mean not by itself) then the heat got to it and it peeled off. Second time around I cleaned it good where the tape was going and has been fine since.
