How much travel should shocks have for a 4 inch lift, and how long should the shocks be? Where should I get them?

At what lift height should I get new control arms? What do they do? Where can I get some for not too much?

    Thanks.

Tacomas with more than 3" of lift run out of available caster with the stock upper control arms. My truck definitely drove better after dialing more caster into it after I installed a pair of light racing UCAs.
