Didn't like what was on the market so I made my own tube doors. Less than $100 in both with automotive latches

Just watch where you drive. Around here its illegal to drive on public streets without mirrors andhink the fine is a few hundred bucks. Or maybe make/buy some tube doors and attach the cheapest crap (probably motorcycle style) mirrors. They don't have to be useful, they just have to be there. haha

here in va you have to have 2 mirrors. rear view counts as one. i see jeeps with little bike mirrors from Walmart and they say cops haven't ever said anything to them

It's also illegal in most states to drive without a certain height of rocker panel. Jeeps are legal because they have tall rockers.

I yanked them off on the trail once, interior got too messy. I'm a princess when it comes to that though, i spent 6yrs wheeling in a door less jeep and i like to stay clean and be in AC comfort while on the trail lol!!

I am thinking of making some tube doors (very far down the list) to use on the trail since it does improve visibility which is why i took them off in the first place.

I like the look of the doors off. But my concern has always been putting the doors back on after wheeling a bunch.

Does the body flex, etc mess with door alignment and the proper closing of them afterwards?
