how dark is too dark????

i tinted my tails yesterday and i wanted to know how dark is too dark
i kno great time to ask after i tint them
and is it illeagal if so what will happen if i get pulled over for it???
i would post up some pics but for some reason i cant find mu camera

 

In California it is, my son was ticketed for it on his TC, CHP pulled him over. Chance of a law suit also if you get rear ended from what I understand.

 

Yeah...Would you feel comfortable if you were following your truck that you would see the lights?? Cause it's your truck that is going to get rear ended if someone misses your lights.

It is illegal in lots of places- You'll get a ticket and have to fix them and maybe pay a fine.

u can still see the diffrent colors of the light

 

If you can still see the different colors, then your good.

I know my tailights would be illegal in different states.

 

If you aren't worried about someone looking at them and seeing them...I wouldn't flip out too bad unless you meet a cop who is a stickler...and I don't know that they are illegal where you are..
