Hi again! lol If you have the 3.4l the magnaflow 18" sounds great! A lot of people run that. I have the intake silencers removed and the deck plate mod so it makes it louder.

Im really picking your brain because you seem like you know what your talking about haha, magnaflow has a cat-back exhaust system with these details:
    Tubing O.D. Size: 2.5in
    System Type: Cat-Back
    TIP O.D. Size: 3in.
    TIP Quantity: 1
    Single/Dual: Single
would this be a good option?

Dont get a cherrybomb sounds like crapped.. go with a magnaflow. Everything will sound about the same imo. Im running a gibson going to be getting a magnaflow. A v6 imo will never sound like a v8

Thanks for the input, not trying to make it sound like a V8 but the stock muffler isn't doing it any justice

Yeah my gibson has a nice sound. Mine dumps before the rear axle with a turn down.

Bigger leaf springs the exhaust gets in the way easy way to fix is to chop it.

Yeah having it dump after axle allows you to flex the rear without it being bent by the leaf springs. Some companies have brackets to "fix" that problem but cutting it is easier and offroad wise its one less thing behind the tire to get stuck on stuff.

I had a cherry bomb and it was ricer. I would never buy one again. Magnaflow and aero turbine sound great.

I've got an Aero Turbine and it sounds great, nice an low, but it's a weld in not a cat back system. I did read about a company that was trying to put together a cat back with it but I don't think it ever got off the ground. Plus I think the company is defunked now. Some other company is using the name but making them as knockoffs.

flow master will give you a more agressive and gurgley sound.. the magnaflow is a cleaner smoother more consistent and refined note, just depends on your preference..

I had just a Magnaflow welded in the stock system on a previous gen1.
Only loud when you step on it. Sounded stock when cruising with little or no drone.
I would go with a Maggie or Borla....

    Look at build!
I cant complain with my magnaflow 18", deckplate, silencers blocked and no cats it sounds stock at idle but when you get on it its got a nice tone, I got it for free so I wouldn't complain either way but I highly recommend it! & just dump it over the axle, may make it a tiny bit louder but not too much but helps offroad as others have mentioned
