Like the title says, here are pictures from my frame replacement performed a few weeks ago. I threw a digital camera in the truck when I dropped it off and asked the guys to snap a few pictures if they had time, here are the results.

Here are a few final pictures.

I got it home and fully detailed it (clay bar, buff, etc) and refinished the wheels. I have new headlights and parking lights sitting in the basement that I hope to install this week. But basically I have a brand new 2001 Tacoma Limited 4x4 with 115,000 miles. Since I bought it in February it has new valve cover gaskets, struts, shocks, water pump, timing belt, idler pulley, o2 sensors, polyurethane rack bushings, new stereo, speakers, tint, and Huskyliners. That;s in addition to the frame and the components with it! Feels like brand new.

I will drive this truck until I die!

Glad to hear your happy with it. Have heard both sides. Also off topic, do you work in Henderson county or buncombe county?

Looks identical to my truck when I bought it 4 months ago with 85.000 miles , then I got the Plasti dip fever and changed my rims . Your truck looks brand new . Enjoy

    Pretty much stock right now
That is fantastic! I'm very envious. I still have the original frame on my '03, although it's extremely rusty but still solid. My '01 was replaced. Gives me an idea of what the process must be like.

It is like having a new truck. Yours looks to be in great shape. Good luck with it.

So jealous! I'm pushing for a frame swap now too. I have the skills and tools to do it myself, so either way I'll have a frame eventually, but I'd love to have a dealer do it haha. Mines not doing so hot. With your truck being in such great shape that has to add to the value that the frame is literally immaculate! haha.

    Congrats!

Great pictures! Give that guy a case of beer!
This thread is a great resource!

I had my 2001 reg cab done in Dec. I had no idea what was going on behind the curtain.

Had to sell it though right after the frame was done.
I was saying the same thing "I am going to drive this for the rest of my life." I would still be saying that, if I had it.

Best of luck with your "new" truck!:D
