Hey guys I got a 00 prerunner I was trying to install Some lift spacers and after an hour of fighting with it , I gave up lol.

I used a spring compressor plus a big pry bar to push down on the control arms but it seemed like I needed the lower control arm to go down at least one more inch, and I just couldn't make that happen no matter how hard I tried. Could someone please shed some light on my predicament? What could I be doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes, but it just bolts right back up when you're done
