    Ten guys will give you ten different recommendations.

    This has been discussed in hundreds of threads. Do a search, and if you still have any questions, then ask something more specific.

    Always use "right tool for the job" That is, use someone's computer, not a hand-held toy. After all you " ... can do all the things the big boys can do" . ;)

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Single leaf AAL's tend to ride a bit rough. I didnt like the ride from my wheeler's 1.5" AAL and would recomend the icon 3 leaf AAL.

    3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
    I bet tan4x4 feels good about telling you to "go search". Don't mind him, old people are grumpy sometimes ;)

    So, when you say you want AAL's and new leafs, do you mean you want new stock leafs and a new AAL to put in it? If so I'd recommend getting a new set of lift springs like dakars (2.25") or all pro springs (3"). If an AAL is all you can do then try the progressive AAL which is the 3 leaf AAL or try wheelers 1.5" AAL or toytec has a 2" AAL.

    The center pin on my leaf springs is not in great condition.

    Hey, I resemble that remark :D

    The rest of Mainmoe02's post is spot on, as well. I went the progressive AAL route, to enhance my stock pack and it works very well. Although it doesn't make sense to me, to go the best and most expensive route (all new leaf packs), and then use an AAL as well. The new pack should be good-to-go, or don't buy it.

    Well, my current ones are flat, even starting to frown really. So I need new ones for sure. And I want some better payload because I will be hauling some pretty heavy loads, such as the one in my sig. I don't want anything expensive, because quite frankly I couldn't afford it lol. I got the same issue looking for shocks front and rear. I want Bilsteins because of the awesome feedback everyone gives, but I cant seem to find them any cheaper than $350 for all 4 corners. Is that a good price? And back to the leafs, what is the best route for me to go with those? I'm brand new to this stuff so I need all the help I can get lol

    If you're getting new leafs then there isn't any point in getting stock leafs and an add-a-leaf. You won't get any notable load carrying gains with an add-a-leaf either.

    $350 sounds about right for new Bilsteins all the way around. I have a set of rear 5100's for sale if you want them. Everything is good on them and they have the boots and bushings.

    As for recommendations, I have AllPro Expo leafs and they're great but are probably overkill for what you want as they are built to carry serious loads.

    I'd recommend either of these for leafs: with

    What's up Brandon.^^^^ Some real good advice right above me.
    Man is also offering some physical help. Trying to help you stretch your money. I would also just get good leaf pack. If later it settles add a aal then. My 02

    How much are you asking for them? And how many miles on them? And yeah I don't need anything serious. Most I've ever had resting on the leafs was a trailer full of wet martor and lats. But I will probably do that every blue moon lol. Most will be 3/4" plywood or sheetrock.

    Don't overload your Tacoma so often, your 'new' springs will eventually be sagging too.
    Get a trailer and let it do the heavy hauling, your truck will thank you.

    AAL's are only a band aid and if your leafs are flat they won;t last long with a new AAL.

    Single = rough

    Progressive = not as rough

    Wheelers was the first I know of to have the progressive aal and Icon copied them. If your going to buy one support Wheelers! Ill never give Icon any of my money, but that's a story for another day.
