Hey guys, I need a favor, could somebody disconnect rear o2 sensor and tell me if you get CEL light turn on.

I had to disconnect my o2 sensor but the light never went on. I do have a Bosch sensor on there and I've heard they may not work very well on our trucks. I'd just like a little confirmation that CEL supposed to come on.

    Thanks

I think you need to actually drive the truck around with it unplugged - and long enough to 'heat things up' (so to speak).

So, I'm not sure you'll get a lot of volunteers to do that. Just sayin'.....

How many miles have you driven? I have a code being thrown and it has come on within 10 miles or over 60....

If you turn the key to on/acc (one of em) most of your dash lights will light up--including the cel.

Light works fine, issue is that when rear o2 is unplugged system doesn't throw a codecs it should.
