I'm thinking about ordering up a 2.5" rough country lift this week, just trying to get some input on people's opinions. I saw on ToyTec's website that they make a 3" lift as well for my 98' 4wd SR5, for the same price, anybody using either of these? Thanks

^I had Rough Country shocks on my truck when I bought it. The shock lengths were good, but the valving was pretty... rough. I ended up switching them out for Bilsteins and I like those a lot better. Which Toytec lift were you looking at?

^I see. What kind of lift was the Rough Country? Was that a spacer setup or suspension?

Front is a spacer and rear is lift shackles plus suspension.

I installed this lift several months ago on my '99. I was driving on bald 31's and had a set of 33's laying around. I wanted just enough lift to clear them and this kit worked out well for me. Truck has been my daily driver for 12 years and does not get much off road use besides a few bumpy dirt roads or playing in deep snow. Installation only took a couple of hours. So far so good. Ride is a little stiffer than the worn stock setup but not near as bad as some here would have you believe.

Your truck looks awesome man! You put the RoughCountry lift on it? Or the ToyTec lift?
