That is a clean taco bro. I agree with you about it being the best 1st gen color.

All stock 2001 TRD except for a K&N Filter and Side Step Bars. It was bought new from the lot by my grandfather with the expressed intent to be used and then given to me as a sixteenth birthday present. 160,432 miles.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand she still has pep, enough to almost get me suspended from school

I'm looking for a new set of glass headlights and clear corners, and eventually black and chrome rims. I love my Taco!

I just noticed this thread. I guess I better play...

I just picked up the '99 extended cab. It will be my next project as she is currently suffering from a debilitating disease called frame rot! Major repair is planned.

The '96 I have had for quite a few years but over the last two years she received a makeover of sorts. She aged very quickly one night by picking up a few wrinkles in her sheet metal. All is well now and is actually a better truck than pre-wreck.

First world problems I tell ya, too much Taco for my little workshop.

All they had at the time(99) was a green V6 auto,,and it pissed me off. Wanted that color and engine,,but not the Auto. They had a red SR5 2.7,,so thats what I ended up with. The green SR5 2.7 put you on there wait list and I had zero time to wait.

Easy to camo with that base color,,and that was in the plans.

Now you can just buy a wrap job and be done in a day at the dealer,,lol,,no paint required.
