Check Engine code P0031

Hi I am just curious what is the OEM part that I need to fix this Check Engine code P0031? I have a 2003 Tacoma SR5, 3.4 liter, Auto Transmission. Thanks.

You need to replace the front oxygen sensor, which is about $125-150 if you do it yourself. It'll take you about 20-25 minutes. Very easy.

Thank you. Could you direct me to a site with the right sensor I would need? I would prefer a Denso one. I think that is what is on there now.

Would the exact part I would need be a Denso 234-9001 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor? Thanks.

Rock auto has best prices. I know advance auto parts has them in stock but the price is way higher.

I did? I am the one that asked if the Denso 234-9001 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor was the exact part. Nobody has confirmed it yet.

RockAuto will tell you which oxygen sensor will work with your truck. If you cant figure it out, give the service people a ring and they'll do everything for you.

I'll confirm it for you, yes that's the correct part number for the A/F sensor. And never mind, rock auto doesn't have the best prices. Go to your local auto parts store and buy their denso AF sensor. I'm sure they have the best price for you

My local parts stores want 173.99 for it. I could get it on Amazon for 107.66 free shipping.
