    Hello all,
I've finished my first mod on my 98. Did a grill mod that I'm currently doing a write up on with pics to share. But now on to the matter at hand... I need an "altitude adjustment." We just lifted my sons 3rd gen 4Runner and he got some ideas and part numbers from the forum he's on (T4R.org) that used tundra coils on the front and Land-cruiser coils on the rear. We ended up with a 4" lift for less than half the cost of a complete kit. Anyone done anything like that on a 1st gen Tacoma?

i did this sorta thing on my older suzuki and it was ok but the ride usually is not the best when creating a lift in this manner. to each their own though. if it is providing a good result that is awesome!
