Hey every one I recently purchased a 1995 taco trd v6 and have decided that if like to make a build out of it the truck is in great shape mechanically inside and outside however it is almost completely stock (I will post pictures of it later) any way I'm deciding on where I should go with this build and I have a pretty decent idea of what I want the end product to look like however I could use some advice and help getting there so if anyone has any advice as to what the first things I should buy or modify would be that would be very helpful, any advice is welcome thanks!!! (I will also post pictures of what I want the end product to look like as soon as I can)

The truck on that link is what the end goal is

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
    First- Welcome!
Second - Congrats on your purchase!
Third - Go the the 1st Gen Builds thread and make yourself a build thread to post everything in.
Fourth - Add a signature with a link to your build thread
Fifth - Mine was stock when I bought it as well. It's not now. :) See my sig link for ideas! Some are cheap, some are not.

Welcome! Now on to business, I have a 95 and know for a fact that the TRD package didn't exist until 98. Sorry you have a SR5 V6 Taco, still a great vehicle with what I believe to be the best looking front end. Make a build page in the 1st gen Tacoma build ups section and don't be a stranger, we have similar vehicles and I can probably answer questions you may have.

Also I would suggest getting a lift first, most you ever want to lift a Taco without major issues is 3.0in.

That truck in link you provided is pro. Bet that guy had a lot of money in that rig. Before you do a lift you need to consider how much extra weight you will be adding to the front. Bumper, winch, skids, etc. Welcome to tw!!
    DAMN SOLID ADVICE TACO TERROR^^^^^

Thanks I will make a build thread as soon as I can !! Quick question.. How do I edit my signature and how do I delete threads I've made once they are no longer applicable? (No sense cluttering the topics up)

Thanks for the advice and if you don't mind could you explain what changed in 98? As in what did the trd package consist of and what was it's improvements? I assumed mine had a trd package because it had the factory trd stickers on the box but thanks for clearing that up! Cheers!

I now the truck is beautiful !! One of the first things I want to get is the glassworks unlimited bedsides and quarter panels however there website it doesn't sound like they can ship parts you actually have to physically go to one of there stores (located in California) since I am from alberta canada this is abit of an issue! If anyone knows another company that provides similar products let me know! Or if anyone lives in CA and would be willinging to ship them to me! (I'd pay for everything)

Yeah the truck in the link is awesome, but it's a far cry from what 90% of us on this site have. The amount of custom work on that roll cage is a ton of work in itself. If the owner did all that fab work himself, I'd say well over 20k are in that truck.

Hey thanks man, in the rear I have the Wheelers 5 leaf pack + the Wheelers AAL from Wheelers Offroad. In the front I have Eibach coils on bilstein 5100 shocks from Toytec Lifts.

The only problem is if you put that coil setup on your truck with the lighter 2.7, it will give you over 3" of front lift and a stiff ride. I'd recommend doing research in the lift threads and seeing what's best up front for the 4 cylinder.

Thanks for answer. I am gonna add about 250 lbs up front with bumper and winch. Was just curious, most threads are for ac or dc cabs.
