ok so i bought a 97 tacoma and it has a cheap intake on it and the Air temp sensor is taped up so its not getting its readings, where does this sensor go when not using the stock filter box?

If that junk intake doesn't have a place for it, then you'll have to go back to stock (superior to any aftermarket intake anyway).

Got whole intake from 96 2.7 for sale if you go that route.
