So I was working on swapping my differential today (upgraded gears)
While trying to pull the hose off the ADD (not sure if it's a vent or a vacuum line) the nipple snapped completely off. Gotta love plastic.

So I'm wondering what I should do. Can you get that plastic cover somewhere new ? Or should I just epoxy the nipple back on there ?

If you have an electric add system then its just a vent hose. I did the same thing, and I drilled out where the nipple used to be, coated the outside of the hose in "right stuff" and stuck it in there. That was 5yrs ago and it's still on there.

Its at any auto parts store. It's called permatex right stuff. I suppose any rtv or epoxy would work.

I shit my pants when I broke mine off thinking I just did something expensive!!

Yeah me too, at first my stomach dropped.... then I realized everything was electric actuated so I kinda knew it couldn't be a vacuum line, but I needed to ask around and research to be sure.
