One of my friends has an 88 Landcruiser with a snorkel that she is willing to donate to Roxanne (95 Taco) does anyone know if this would fit? I REALLY do not want to pay 400+ dollars to get one. I am fine if it isn't perfect, but if it came close to fitting I would be fine. Moving the air box might be necessary and I'm cool with that.

Remove it from the Landcruiser and do a mock up to see if it lines up. You could be the first on here to try it so take a stab at it and let us know.

Just finished installing my Safari snorkel on my 2000 tacoma. Any tube that you could connect to the stock air intake could "work", remains the esthetics...

We are going to just look over both of them later after work, fingers crossed!

Yeah, I was thinking about using some DWV or PVC, but then this option presented itself.

there's definitely going to be some improvising involved. i think with the cutting into the fender and whatnot that attempting it without full confidence is too risky. unless you just don't care about having a hole in your fender if it doesn't work.

its easy to try to ghetto-rig something that's bolted or zip tied on, or even interior/engine bay but cutting into the exterior fender is very noticeable and could be a weather issue.

but I'd still like to see you try.

I wouldn't mind the black pipe coming out of the fender if it was clean and all... I won't just leave a huge whole in my fender. She isn't a trail rig yet! And I am definitely not routing the air box to the cab, that would be ridiculously loud and "drony."

Both snorkels are on the passenger side, so I'm assuming yes, although I haven't looked at the cruiser closely.

Cosmetically your issue is going to be the angle of the windshield, if the Landcruiser has the same angle as the the Tacoma's then the rest of the issues are under the hood which can be fixed with some pvc and plumbers cement. Might have issues with the crease in the Tocoma fender too if it reaches that far.
