I totaled the truck end of July 2014. It is now in CoParts in Las Vegas, NV. It's a 2004 4WD, V6, 3.4 L in Silver. NV License FL2016 VIN: 5TEWN72N14Z445222. Mileage: 138578

I'm taking the settlement week of August 25 to 29 and so the Tacoma should go to auction soon after.

It would be a good buy for someone looking to convert to an off-road rig. I owned the Tacoma since 11,000 miles and kept it maintained with 5000 miles Mobil1 oil changes and mostly K&N filters. Has lifetime K&N air filter.
Engine was sound with absolutely no problems. 5 speed manual was a little slow to shift First to Second (double clutch it) in winter but otherwise fine. Transfer case good condition. Needed shocks...probably a new muffler soon. Battery is recent. Starter motor needed dis-assembly and cleaning as the solenoid shaft sometimes stuck on starting. Alternator fine. Timing belt, water pump, front brakes, rack bushing replaced at 108,480. New clutch, pressure plate and flywheel at 130,330. Work done by Precision Performance in Las Vegas. Has a SnugTop canopy with mounts for a Yakima rack. No rust at all. Windshield has some sand pocking you notice driving into the sun. Interior electrical good with exception that the under-dash circuit to the clock shorts out from time to time. Paint job in good condition with brush scratches of course. Salvage buy back is $3135.

The Tacoma is at NV-COPART LA VEGAS, 4810 North Lamb Blvd. Nearest cross street is Craig. You bid online with Copart. Go to copart.com and register.

    The lot number is: 25948924

I went there today to recover my license plates. One was lost. I also noticed the frame is tweaked in ways it was not post crash. The doors were a not opening smoothly like they were opening immediately after the crash. So heads up on that; perhaps the way the truck was handled by the forklift when being moved. The interior dash protectors and fuse panel had been moved. Strangely the hood had not been raised so I don't understand how an accurate evaluation could have been done, but it's history now.
Copart's auctions online every Thursday in Las Vegas

Before seeing it today I really was giving serious thought to rebuilding it. Now after feeling how the frame has been twisted...I am glad I didn't opt for rebuild. Honestly I would not give $3000 for it now.
