Engine blueprinting services recommendation?

I'm looking into rebuilding my motor and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a business that they've used that does blueprinting? I know there's a ton of shops out there that advertise these types of services, but I'd like to hopefully find one that really knows their stuff!

Specifically, I'm looking for someone who might do things like rod balancing, crankshaft balancing, etc.

Any recommendations?

I dont know anyone in your area, about a block from me is a well established automotive high performance engine builder named Ed Hale who has built some of the best motors in CA. & engine blu printing/balancing is well within their scope of expertise, def not cheap ...

 

That dude builds some of the best in the country.

 

Yeah but we dont want to brag....

My Dad knew Ed real well, built 2 of his engines & we used to go to Cajon Speedway every sat. night to watch him race...

I dont even think he's alive anymore but the tradition lives on, I can hear those badass motors run when they have them on the Dyno..

 

I think he passed about a decade ago, but not sure. The name definitely carries a lot of weight.

 

Oh most definantley, set the bar pretty high, thing that made us laugh was Ed could build you a motor that'd last 500k but he couldn't troubleshoot or tune a motor to save his life which he readily admitted...
