Ultra Gauge Pending Code?

    So, I've gotten very accustom to my UG yet I'm just now getting to use the trouble code feature of the UG. So, what's the deal with a Pending Code? The code in question was P0136...which I'm guessing from doing a few searches sounds like one of my O2 sensors is going or gone bad, not certain which one and where it's located...but I'm willing to tackle the job if not too difficult.
    Does the Pending Code basically translate into a problem that is about to be a bigger problem?
