tacoma 2001 tail lights in a 2000? why not

will the newer 2001 style tail lights fit in a 2000. what is diffrent?

They will work, but some have had to re-wire the plug a little for it to work properly. Also, the interior housing for the '01+ is a chrome reflector while the '00 is just plain gray.
