So here is my frustration.... I bought my 01 D/C late last year. Since I bought it the e-locker has been out of commission. Every time I'd try to engage the locker it would blink constantly, I figured it need to be rebuilt but hadn't checked it until this evening (should have checked it the day I bought it when I knew it wouldn't engage). I finally decided to get off my behind and do the job, but to my surprise the previous owner did a real hack job and FUBAR'd the e-locker housing it broke off in one area when he tried working on it and instead of replacing it correctly he used silicone cocking to hold it together and put it back. What a P.O.S. he is for not at the very least letting me know it was so efffd up at time of purchase. When I bought it I specifically asked about the locker since it wouldn't engage. Now I have to search the wrecking yards to hopefully find one. I highly doubt it though!!!!

Silicone is obviously the wrong product. He should have used duct tape.

OP, you CAN manually engage it just to see if mechanically it will. It's pretty easy from where your at with it out... But yeah I'd say you at least might need a new (or used) accuator

How much were you able to pick it up for? I hope you bought the entire third and not just the actuator.

They only had the actuator. But it was $60.
