Where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 98 2.4l ?
Mine needs changing so is it difficult to do?
I also want to know if I need to replace the EGR Valve ? If it isn't going to affect the engine performance I'd rather use the $145 for something else.

if the egr valve is stuck open just put a block off plate between it and the manifold and forget about it.

it might just be the little sensor that screws into the manifold right next to the throttle body, it reads when heat passes meaning the egr is working.

what is you code saying is wrong with the egr? maybe just removing it and cleaning the carbon out will fix it.
