Yesterday while removing my sway bar (love it now, but thats another topic) I noticed all 4 of my bolts to which the manual transmission mounts to the rubber mount are gone!:eek:

    Manual trans, 2.7L
What size are these? M10? how deep? Sorry no pics..

The head is 14mm. the bolt size is probably 8mm or 10mm. you should be able to get some at your local auto parts store. As I recall, they are only about 30mm long.

Yeah I overlooked he was looking for thread size not head size, fucking metrics...

M10 bolt btw. Drives with a lot less slop now, I figured I had a bad u joint and some major axle wrap, 4 bolts help a lot lol.

And turns out one of my front u joints is bad too. Getting that fixed wednesday

Man just go to the dealer. I have been stoping there for all kinds of bolts and small doo dads that only they have. It will be $10 worth of stuff and no more guessing.

I called and the dealer did not have them in stock, and could only get me a part number, or order them in in around a week. So yeah, glad I got it taken care of already by a sweet local Toyota Fabrication Shop (Green Tree Fab.)

Probably just means someone put a different bolt in that wasn't stock. I wouldn't worry about it.

Wanted to confirm - 14mm flange head 10mm x 1.25mm x 25mm 10.9grade from ACE Hadware worked perfectly at about $1.50 each. Called Toyota & they couldn’t even come up with a part number.

Waiting until I take out the front driveshaft for new universals to get the DS side missing one in & the lone bolt out to replace it.

One thing to remember is Toyota, just like Honda even with their ATV's and Bikes uses the 1.25 pitch for the 8/10 and sometimes the 12mm in many cases. The typical hardware store will carry a 10mm x 1.50 as that is the standard metric pitch. Often people grab the wrong bolts and things go bad, just be aware that they use a fine pitch in many applications and finding that 1.25 pitch in larger diameters can be a bit more of a PITA...
