Well i'm now among the long list of people that have had their badges stollen off of their vehicle. The other day I came home from a trip and the fist thing I noticed before I fully pulled into the driveway was that my front toyota emblem had been stolen. I never realized that this was a money maker until I searched for a new badge on ebay. I'm now in a pickle. Should I pray that the new one that I buy doesn't get stolen? Should I somehow adhere the emblem risking more damage? What do you guys think?

I'd just leave it, or paint it silver and pretend there's no holes in it.

Get a set if devil horns. Bolt on. I engraved my ID# (last initial and last 4) into the back I my devil horns. That way if they so get stolen, I atleast have a chance of getting them back.

Maybe you could put small single LEDs in the holes? Easy and cheap. Just a suggestion.

I'm assuming if you don't want to replace it, you probably wanted a cheap fix. What would you like to do?
If they're stealing an 11 year old plastic Toyota badge from your grill, they'd probably steal a nice aftermarket metal badge too (horns), so that's probably not the road to drive down either.

    Sell the truck, your screwed.
You could always get a satoshi and not have badge.

I've purchased a new one and I suppose i'll just hope it doesn't happen again. I was just wondering if anyone had some interesting ways of remedying the situation. selling the truck just won't do... I just don't have the heart to pass this massive problem on to someone else ;)

Superglue it on. I remember in high school, stupid kids would go around stealing emblems off Hondas and Accuras. They would then attached them to their back packs for some reason. Never understood that.

Went to remove the emblem off my rolled truck that was bought back from insurance, that's sitting in storage; to give to another member. Some walking pile of shit jacked it. :smack:
