New Guy questions Bilstien 5100/eiback lift install question and advice

    hey guys im new to forum i recently sold my2010 dc lifted tundra and went back to tacoma due to building a house. heres a few questions... I just bought the Toytec Bilstien 5100 Eibach lift kit for my 2004 trd tacoma 5sp v-6. was wondering if there are any tips or tricks i need to know before i install it. or is it just simply unbolt the top nuts and lower shock bolt and disconnect swaybar and remove strut and assemble new one and reinstall?. and rear is the 1.5 inch block. thanks guys!

    It is really just straight forward. I installed my kit myself, just takes time and patience. You have a 1st gen but I don't think that there is a huge diference in the general setup.

    No I have friend with a shop that I will be bringing them to use his strut compressor tool.

    I didnt have to remove my swaybar in order to install them, might have helped but I didnt need to. Pretty straight forward installing, remove the3 nuts on the top and the bolt on the bottom, insert new coil\strut and tighten down. Don't forget about torquing them down. Did you get a diff drop?

    Pretty easy install, I did it myself in a couple of hours.
