    I have tried 87 and 91 in the summer months and noticed no difference. Am I not listening for the right things? I don't mind paying the extra for 91/93 (Though it's quite a lot) if it's better for the engine.

    89 vs 93 equates to over 1mpg more, I am averaging 370 miles per tank vs 340 miles on the hwy 90% of the time.

    On trips i can see that 93 gives me better mileage, sadly i only drive about 2.5 to and from work everyday, so my mileage suck, unless i take it on a trip. Oddly enough i still use 93 when i fill up, i think it makes the engine run smoother.

    There is an Exxon that also sells chicken that has gas for $2.81 and a Racetrac a little further down that has it for $2.84 down where I work. Most Shell places have it for $3.09 and Chevron's are around $2.99. Personally, I use either Exxon or Shell

    Citgo fuel comes from United Refinery...thats 100% North American crude. Quik Fill is the same. I can say that for certain about quik fill fuel and for Citgo at least in the PA, Ny region. On that note its all I put in my vehicles

    Has anyone noticed that all grades of Chevron have Techron but only premium Shell is labeled "V-Power"? Does this mean low and mid grade Shell has no additive?

    Like buying milk I want it whole milk no non-fat, lactaid or soy milk. I don't need anything special with my gas, just cheaper and convenient. I'm not going to go out of my way for the cheapest but if it's near me or my work then that's fine. I've yet to try a "brand" of gas that has been far superior to another. E85 is good if you want more HP and less MPG but I'm not going that route with this truck.

    The less mpg should balance out with the fact that E85 is about 20% cheaper

    ^I'm with you in that my truck doesn't really care what brand fuel I use but my evo does. I've seen tunes with 20whp difference based on using a grocery store fuel vs Sunoco or similar.

    The only gas I'll put in my evo out here is Conoco (Phillips 66) because I don't have any Chevrons, 76s, or Texacos out here. But, those fuels worked well for me in California.
