So wanting to put 2 led cubes in each blinker part. I'm gonna mod my corner light to be drl/blinker and want to do the two fogs as led pods. Does anyone make mounts for this? If I have the mount on the top or bottom it doesn't fit the mount had to be at the back of the pod image.jpg

I will pay for mounts and could get a lot sold if you were interested. Please someone help me out!

What u could do, is cut out the entire thing, the blinker housing surround in the plastic, and put in some grille mesh, and get extended bolts for the front cap of the cubes and bolt them onto the mesh. I tired this with 8" led bars but they were too heavy for the thin mesh. But those cubes are pretty light so shouldn't be an issue. Worth a shot. Then if it doesn't work for you go further with it and make some mounts. I had a helluva time trying to figure out how to fab something up. If u wanna see how I did mine check it out here

Edit: or even just a thicker metal filler plate. Seeing as those cubes take up more space than my 8" bars and it won't look ghetto... Kinda like the 2nd gen led cube foglight bracket by rigid. Then cut out the squares and slide them in!

Oh, well yeah those are too bright at night to be used as fogs. I assumed he was using them switched or for high beams. I've seen some guys run just a single pair and they aren't TOO bad. I'm always tempted to blind them with all mine tho.:D Quad pods would def be too much tho. I only use my setup in series with my other light bars as my high beams with no traffic. Way too bright with four 10 watt leds each side.

These are only 16 watt pods, I helped put 4 on my friends Cherokee and we aimed them down a good bit and he drives with them on all the time, they aren't aimed up high at all though, I'd run them until I started getting flashed probably, I have projectors so never get brights flashed

We shall find out haha there's a lot of trucks that do this so I don't think its illegal, but then again that depends if their aimed properly

I think I have some sheet metal I used as a test, if you want me to explain a little more what I'm thinking about as it's hard to explain. I can take some shots of those and some more of how I cut out the plastic in the turn signal area. It should be fairly easy to do granted you have a cutting tool to cut out the squares in the metal plate, if you go that route. I would. Then you don't have to worry about figuring out funky angles for a mount. Or using flimsy mesh. Let me know and we can collaborate:) I like the idea of those pods. Probly look sweet when you get it all done!

Ha yeah I was anxious too. But with my 8" bars there was no other way. Wouldn't fit in the hole without cutting it extensively. I tired cutting only the very back side that holds the signal assembly but couldn't get it. Got fed up with it and said FUCK IT, and busted out the pneumatic dremel and went to town. Lol. My valance is kinda old and faded anyways. And I plan on eventually getting a tube or plate bumper so I wasn't too worried. But you might be able to get those cubes in there ok without cutting. I don't want to steer you in a direction you don't wanna go though. Will those cubes go back anymore or do they stick out a hair like in your first pic?

They could probably to back w little more depending how they were mounted, it was the only way I could get them to stay to get a pic though lol I kinda want the inner ones sticking out a little more than the outer kind of like ford raptors haha

Yeah that'd be sick. Hmm.. And you can't just turn them upside down and use the mount provided with them and bolt it through the flat plastic above them that used to surround the signal housing?
Or if it won't work with the provided mount, maybe bolt down a metal plate on top (on the inside) extending it back if needed, that way it's reinforced a bit and not just a single hole going through the plastic allowing it to wiggle and shake. Then make a custom bracket for the cube, out of the skinny flat stock like I used on mine to "hang" them from the top?
Edit: Oh I see you said the mount only works pointing backwards. In that case, maybe an L bracket bolted to the top plastic..?

So figured it out! Got one side going and going to finish the drivers side tomorrow, then have to change my corner lights to drl/blinker probably going to have to adjust the angle the faces are completely vertical

I took the brackets that came with the pods and drilled a hole right about the factory holes so the brackets were a lot more flush to the pod and trimmed the inner part of the bumper towards the rear where the original housings is held in and mounted them to the bottom of the bumper. After I get the rest hooked up I'm going to get a close up vid of them
