Playing with idea of getting a Sno-Way 22 or a 30 inch Ariens snow blower.

Driveway is not that long. Can get about 7 cars straight in single wide and 2 more in front garage.

Been researching a lot on both. Just throwing a feeler out here for a Tacoma discussion. Thanks

    Hey bud,
Where abouts in CT? I'm in Goshen with a 450' driveway. I have both. I use the plow for the most part. If I can, I go back out with the blower and get rid of the the banks because the drifts up here get ridiculous with all the wind we get. If you have any steady prevailing wind I would lean towards the blower, especially with how short your driveway is.
I also would not put a plow on a Tacoma that is even remotely new. We have plows for our Kawasaki Mule and our Mahindra tractor. Let them do the work. This will be our first winter with the tractor.
Our blower is a year old Ariens and it runs great. The light kinda sucks though. Ive though about pulling it and replacing it with a few cheap Cree spots from Amazon.
Feel free to ask any other questions.

How lazy are you, and how much are you willing to trade $$ for convenience?
A snowblower is cheaper than a plow and generally does a neater job, but takes considerably longer.
The plow is generally much faster and you get to sit in a heated cab while you clear your driveway, but it's more expensive both in terms of initial investment and probably in long-term maintenance/repair costs.

Edit: As a disclaimer, I have a plow truck :D

I have a plow truck and a blower. I use them both, but if I had to have only one it would be the plow truck for sure. I also would never put a plow on my Tacoma, but that's just me.

Tugboat. Volly for local service down there. We transport to Bridgeport all the time. BTW. I love Goshen. Must be so nice to live there. Buddy of mine owns a horse farm in bethel and picked up a mahindra tractor. Thing is amazing. I think I will take all of your advise and stick with blower idea. I do like the Cree led light upgrade idea!!!

Must be the first storm after he installed the plow; what's on the ground there is barely worth plowing. But if he was itching to use his new plow...
