    Hey TW,
I just purchased a speaker/tool box combo for my bed. It's a mutton chop style box that fits over the wheel well. (A little goofy but I like it, see it here:http://www.autoanything.com/truck-toolboxes/74A4595A0A0.aspx) I'm yet to get an amp (I believe I would need one unless I can go straight to the truck stereo somehow) and have minimal wiring experience. Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks-
    Jack

did you get the optional amp? if you did get a low level line converter that will convert the signal going to your factory speakers into rca outputs. from there run the rcas to the amp.
