So my mechanic says that the 99 trd tacoma has a unibody suspension.

However I was looking into buying a toytec lift.

I messaged the company and told them of the swaying problem

They replyed with a message telling me that no tacoma has a unibody

Suspension. And there lifts wouldn't effect my vechical.

I just want a sure answer as to what is going on.

If any one has had the same problem let me know

3 inch suspension lift, 33 inch bfgoodrich mud terrain tires, toytech diff drop, Procomp alloy wheels, hella fog lights, black projector headlights with 8000k HID's, blacked out tail lights, two 12 inch subs, 20% tint, pioneer head unit and speakers
all tacomas have frames, not a unibody design. the only vehicle i can think of that poeple lift and are unibody are cherokees.

So what is your problem? You say your truck is swaying? I think you may need new shocks and probably need to replace the sway bar bushings as well. BTW, your mechanic is an ass for telling you your truck is a unibody.
