I have the Toyota Tacoma s-runner with a 6" lift, my stock rear end went out so I bought a pretaco rear to replace, now that is going out.

My question is if I get a rear end out of a 4cyl truck will it work in my v6 truck?

First off I'd love to see your S-Runner lifted... Pics?

Second, since your 2wd it should work as long as it matches what your truck currently has. ABS, etc... The gearing in the 4 cyl rear-end will probably be different than what you currently have as well.

I had it slammed and got tired of it, so up it went....... I have 3" spindle lift and 3" coil lift........6" lift spindles in the rear, but it sags with the weight of my shell.
honestly I don't even know where the one I have now came from, I just know it was in a 89 Toyota. But hopefully one from a 4cyl truck will be fine.

I'll get some pics for you guys
