My 01 tacoma shuts off at high rpm and i cant figure out why its doing this. i dont have any mods on it so everything is stock except for the flowmasters . but when i if i floor it of if my rear tires break it will shut off, and if you have ever tried to work your brakes or steer when you truck is off its not easy. this is a problem i would really love to fix , its not real safe, if any one has ANY info on this or is having the same problem please let me know

    how many miles?

Try changing out your fuel filter, and see what happens. A tune up probably wouldnt hurt either.

If the blinker Fluid is low, the truck would still run.....You just wouldnt be able to steer it.
