Ok so I have these gentle speed bumps in my neighborhood... meaning they're about 4 or 5 inches tall but really wide (like maybe 3 feet span), so rolling over them is pretty gentle. When I come down from them around 5mph or more and the front end dips a bit there is a noticeable "CLACK" or clicky sound. At first I thought it was the struts because the lower bushings were shot to hell... I figured it was the eye bolt and metal sleeve slapping the inside of the strut end. But then I replaced the struts with new 5100's and it still does it.

I checked the swaybar endlinks... the rubber bushings are cracked but still in one piece. This sounds more like metal on metal clacking. Any ideas?

Are you certain it's the front? Wondering if, when the front end lifts that the rear leaf springs might be creaking...otherwise I got nothing.

Yes, sounds like the front. Even on small dips, as soon as the front dives it clicks.

    WOW, really... all that?

I was thinking of doing swaybar endings next... upper ball joints.

I would check Lower Ball Joints and Upper Ball Joints.

don't overlook the bushings holding the steering assembly onto the truck, its held on with rubber isolator bushings and they can and do sometimes wear out and need replacing

Upper and lower ball joint check. That's USUALLY the culprit for slow speed clicks and pops.

If they are the oem's and no one greased them with a needle/syringe grease tip,,they are probably shot or real close to it.

A loose or cracked wheel can make the same noise.(slow speed click).

Lemme add to this... when in come to a stop, anything more than gently so, I hear a creaking up front.

Ball joints could be doing this imo.

If swaybar ends are tight, check the two swaybar mounts. I had one come loose (before I gave the swaybar back to toyota) made the same sound.

Can you replicate this by bouncing the front bumper?.
