Does anyone know how to disable this feature? I hate it!

Would love to have the passive arming though and be able to unlock all the doors with one push of the button.

I know on some trucks you can use the radio menu to turn off the auto "unlock" when you put the truck in park but as far as I know there is no feature to turn off the auto lock when the truck is in gear.

that said, try looking at the wiring diagram, maybe you can find the wire coming from the ignition that energizes it (if that's even where it gets energized from) and cut it if it really bothers you enough to go that far

I read the procedure here somewhere, wish I would have kept the link then. I had only owned it a few days and it wasn't a pain. It really isn't a pain now, just seems like undue wear and tear on the actuators.

I'll look for it. It was a pdf attached to the key/fob thread. It had maybe 10 different "configurations" you could program by opening and closing doors, key in and out. I think there was a chant you had to do, too.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
My truck never locks when I start going, I have to do it manually by hitting the button.
