    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
you need to specify prerunner or regular truck because prerunners have the stock 4wd height already built into them and 6 lug bigger rims where the regular trucks came with 14" 5 lug rims and went up to 15" in 2001+ models and had the car height suspension

It's 4wd but I think I have newer 16 inch wheels the previous owner put on. The current tire size is 245/75/16

I'm running 265/75/16's on my 99 with 4.30 gears and the 3.4 with the auto trans. They fit well and look great. Get a little rub at full steering lock and compression of the front suspension. Not enought to worry with. You have the 3.4 or 2.7? Not sure how the 2.7 would handle the larger tires.

Dang that looks good. So did you have to adjust the speedometer and the gear ratios?

The whole drive train is out of a 4runner, everything is matched. You should be Ok you are going from a 30x9.5 to a 31x10.5 the 2.7 guys could give you a better answer.

    Here's my 2001 Reg Cab 4cyl 5spd.

I had 265/75/16 BFG ATs on stock suspension...

Then I added Bilstein 5100's up front on top setting with stock coils, and added 2 90's Chevy 2500 rear leafs jut down to fit into the stock Tacoma rear leafs for a more progressive 5-leaf spring pack. IMG_20140314_183717_edc45a4c9adb818f01a70afda0fea8a281285b11.jpg

Last pic is how it looks now, no camper, and stepped up to 285/75/16's and added 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers to fend off some rubbing.

The 265's on stock suspension only rubbed the frame rail slightly at full lock, and maybe barely touched the inner fenders when stuffed and turning. The 285's with the lift rub like hell. I have only done minor trimming of the inner fender plastics. It's OK on pavement, as it only rubs when turning and going in or out of a driveway, but off-road it rubs pretty hard. I still wheel it, but I take it easy.

My truck came with 265/70/16's and 4.30 gears from the factory. No reason to regear with the 265's, but the 285's have put a hurting on my mpg, and make highway driving suck. 5th gear is useless when trying to pass, or to go up even a slight grade.

Side note, the Bilsteins settled a bit after the pic with the camper shell was taken, since that was the day I installed all the suspension. Now I've got to take a leaf out of the rear spring packs because my rake is a bit too much and I don't like the profile, sits up way too high in the rear now.

My truck came with the 16x7 split 3 spoke steelies, and I quickly swapped those hideous things out for some 1st gen Tundra steelies, which are also 16x7 and have the same backspacing as the OEM wheels. They also match the factory spare.

Also, I built a 1.75" DOM tubing rear shock crossmember welded between the rear frame rails and added some 10" travel Pro Crap shocks out back. I did this knowing I was going to be installing a ubolt flip, but I never got around to installing it. Either way, you can use the stock rear shock mounts and run Toyota T100 stock rear shocks, as they are 10" travel. The Pro Comp shocks are rough...I mean ROUGH! But for me it was all I could find locally that day.
