Took a video for you (and anyone else that is curious) of my two mounts.

Note that when I say "tablet" I am thinking about a full size iPad which is pretty heavy. I suppose a smaller tablet would be fine.

Awesome video man! Thanks a ton. Yeah it seems it does have a bit of play in the suction mount. Probably be fine for a 7" tablet though. Guess I'll have to try it. Can always return it. I'm only worried because I live on a nasty dirt road and I don't wanna watch that thing jiggle around every day. ha. But driving down the street seems like it'll be solid. Hmm.. I wonder if I can tuck it in there without an extension. Or maybe hard mount it to my cb radio mount that is mounted up in place of the rearview mirror. Sweet setup btw. Just now getting into cb's and other in cab gadgets. I've also got a sweet little tpms mounted in. Just need this tablet "scan gauge" alternative and I'm set!

And one of these too!!! Except I'm not sure how it'll hold my phablet of a phone. I saw a video of someone messing with it comparing a small phone and one of mine(HTC ONE Max) and it looks fucking hilarious. But I really would like to try it and get my phone outta the cup holder.

Edit: oh wait a sec.. I thought you said an iPhone but I misread. Looking at the pic it looks like a Samsung galaxy s4? That's still pretty big. Mines only .9" bigger so I'll ask, how's it hold up on the steelie?? Does it tend to "knock" itself out of wack on bumps or anything?

Mine is the s3 which I am pretty sure is the same size as the s4. It doesn't move at all. It works great.

For a tablet look at the mount I posted at the bottom of my previous post.

I did and it looks pretty nice! But yer right, pricey. Ram makes something similar but I think this one looks sturdier. I might consider this down the road. I want it up as high as possible. At least for now. Because I'm sure I'll constantly be looking at it for a while. eventually I'll probably rarely look at it after I get used to it so I might want to move it out of the way. Idk. I don't wanna spend a ton on this. Yet. I think I can get by right around $100 for my tablet, the mount, and the steelie, which I'm ordering up that steelie right now!:) I'll have to post some pics of everything once I get this all set up!
