help on tire size for my lifted taco

My truck has a complete OME 3" lift kit. can i fit 285x70 or 295x70 tires on here? Will they rub less than 33x12.50's due to being narrower?

I believe you will still need to do the pinch weld mod and trim the lower corner of bumper plastic. But if you have wheels with good offset you shouldnt rub on UCAs or frame. I run 305x70R16s (almost 33x12.5s) and i rub a little on frame only when turned to the max. A lot of guys run the 285s and like them! Hope this helps!

the wider the tire, the more you'll cut from the fender and the further you'll have to push it out to keep from rubbing on the frame and UCA
