Mysterious Directionals

I have a 2002 2WD PreRunner, a few days ago as I left work around 9PM I noticed my left turn signal froze in the ON position while the right side worked fine. This only occurred when I turn the lights on. When the lights are off both sides work. The 4-ways work when the lights are off but dim on and off in sequence with the hazard relay when the lights are on.

I have swapped the side markers, front and rear directional's from left to right but the situation remains the same or the left side only. I have spent about $100 so far on a new flasher relay, new light switch and bulbs with no change at all. All the fuses check out as well.

I dread taking it to an auto electric repair shop where I know the hourly rate will break my budget.

I am at a complete loss. Any advice please?

That can usually be traced to a burnt out bulb. Did you use the correct replacements when you tried to resolve it?

 

problems like this are most often just a bad (internally shorted) trailer wiring harness module, they make all your signals and lights spaz out and do crazy things.
