Has anyone switched headlights out of 04 to 08 headlights ?

Has anyone switched headlights out of a 2004 tacoma to the next gen headlights? I got some headlights from a 2006 I'm trying to put in, but I think I have to take bumper and stuff off to try to have them fit. Anyone ever done this ?

 

You may be the first. I'd like to see it.

 

They are bigger and bulkier than 04 lights, you will have to do some serious fabbing to get them to fit and when you do, it's probably going to still look like a backyard hack job, just saying... Stick with the right lights is my vote.

 

Ok ya I tried to have them fit tonight just to see and if I can get them in there then it would look sick!

 

Yes, the people who have done that use a fiberglass conversion on the front end.

 

Look for a one piece fiber glass front clip thats bout the only way its happening
