    Hey TW,

I recently installed a Borla exhaust on my 04 dcsb prerunner about a month ago. 2 days ago my check engine light came on and then went off a day later. It came back on and I was able to hook up a code reader and it gave me the p0031 code. What should it do? Reset my CPU by taking off the battery wire or automatically change out the o2 sensor?

IIRC that is a generic code for the heater circuit.

It will only cause a less than optimal run condition until the exhaust is up to temperature; no harm is being done, although you would fail an inspection.

It won't hurt to do a reset; the cleanest way is with the code reader you used (assuming it has that feature) If the code returns, time for a new O2.

Miles on vehicle? May be a good time to do both?
