Alright after help from some of you guys and much research. I finally got a good build idea for my tacoma. Im just looking for some input from guys that either have a set up like this or know their parts well. Here it goes.

    HAVE:
    1999 tacoma auto/2.7 2wd pre runner
bilstein 5100s all around set at 2.5" up front

    WANT to install:
    Front 3" toytec coil spacers
Rear 1.5" Wheelers HD Progressive Add a leaf
    Rear toytec 1" shackle lift
Rear pro comp 1000 extended length shocks
    (lookin to spend about 500$)

Any input if this would be a good set up would be appreciated. Thanks!

You have 2.5" in the front now? What do you have in the rear (for lift) currently?

Why are you getting 3" coil spacers? You'll have to put the bilsteins back down to ZERO..... and you're only gaining 1/2". You can't have both.

Its currently stock in the rear. I didn't know about the front set up, thanks for the heads up. I guess my next question would be what could i do for the front to get another 1-1.5" lift out of it. Most off roading i do is hit some minor trails and cal-city whenever i get a chance.

Unless you go to a drop bracket lift, like a 6" Fabtech, you're not going to get more than 3 or 3.5" in the front. The control arm and CV axle angles get too high, and the suspension travel is shot. You end up with a shitty ride and the CV boots blow out all the time.

You don't really need more than 3" to run 33's, and I definitely wouldn't recommend a drop bracket lift. Some people add a 1" body lift if you really want the extra clearance.

If you're looking to beef up your front end, I would recommend adding a pair of eibach coils to your bilstiens. You will have to run the billies at zero if you add the coils however. That will put you at or just above 3" in the front.

I've checked the fabtech one out too but around 3.5 is all I really want and need. Only other thing I've seen that will get me close to 3 is eibach coilovers made for the 5100s. I want to exclude using blocks. Just because I haven't heard great things.

That's exactly what I'm looking to do. I came up on those as well right now so that's what I'm gonna order. Still stock in the rear. If I do the 1.5" progressive AALs in the rear you think it'll look leveled or just leave it alone?

btw thank you for helping me get somewhere with this haha

I would definitely do the add a leaf. You would most likely have bro lean if you don't.

Yeah that's what i was thinking. With the add a leaf you think the 5100s will be good in the rear or would I need longer shocks back there?

Right on. So I'm gonna order up the eibach front coil overs and the wheelers 1.5" pregressive AAL. Thanks for the help man! Cant wait to slap everything on there.
