    What's the common opinion of the 3.4L V6? Durable? Any known issues?

    Is it timing belt or chain? Non-interference?

    Very solid little motor. I have 135k(ish) on mine and i expect alot more life out of it.

    Belt, not a chain.

    The 3.4L is just about bullet proof and it's a non-interference design. That should not keep you from following the recommended maintenance intervals for the timing belt and water pump.

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    Best yota V6 ever! I look forward to another 300k out of mine, she only has 87,222 on her now.
