I lowered it some I guess I'll lower it a lil more to see if it goes away.

if you lifted the truck 2" then lower the bearing 2" to match and it should be back like before

also if you lifted the truck 2" you need to make a bracket to lower the rear brake arm on the axle so your rear brakes work as they should or you will only have front brakes

Any more details on your vibration? Is it speed dependant? In other words, is it more prominent when starting off from a stop and maybe change or disappear altogether at certain speeds? Or does it start when you reach higher speed.

Also, do you feel it more in the steering wheel or maybe in the seat and floorboard?

i dont believe those ratios are true.

but you just need a driveline spacer its problably pulled out a little too far from the slipyoke on the trail end or the trans so it vibrates. When I deavered my truck with a f55 pack it lifted it a shit ton 3 or 4in) and i had crazy vibes because my plunger was too pulled out. added a 3/4in driveline spacer and presto gone.

well not exactly, the correct way is to measure the driveline angles and shim based on those readings but its a simple rule of thumb to use that for every inch you lift you lower the carrier an inch and this rule gets you very close back to the original geometry and solves most vibration issues.

you cant just shim the rear end because the carrier itself needs realigning not just the tailshaft

Did you reassemble the driveshaft properly? It could be 180 off where it bolts to the t-case. Just a thought.

It vibrates from 25 to 35 mph and it's the worse slowing down. This truck is like almost new again so I have to get the vibration fixed...

I took the drive shaft to Cincinnati driveline and had it redone and balanced

I have a 96 with a 3 inch lift, vibes at about the same speed (18-25mph) and they are also worse when slowing. Haven't had time lately to experiment with a remedy. Curious to see what you find out. Hoping to get to correcting the issue soon.

Like I said I don't thing that ratio is true. It all depends on the angle of the driveline.

My truck is pushing 24in of travel in the rear with no driveshaft vibes and is lifted waaay beyond what it was stock. Im on 35s and My truck has about 15in of uptravel witha 4in frame notch so im estimating its lifted at least 8+in vs stock and my carrier bearing is only dropped about 2 in from stock placement (i fabricated the carrier bearing mounts) I also had my driveline ballanced by IE driveline.

OP Your pinion angle may have been thrown off with whatever lift kit you installed. If you can take a to a driveline and ask them to measure the driveline angle. And if you get the chance check to see how far out the plunger is in the transmisson.

Update I lowered the carrier bearing two inches and the vibration is gone.
