    Hi guy's and Gals,

My muffler has a hole in it and after looking at the system (Cat Back) that all seems good, however, I'm thinking R&R all of it.

    What would you guys do?
    What system should I get?
If I go muffler only which one?

Thanks for any and all input.

I just went through all of that and ended up just doing a magnaflow free flow muffler. I talked to several shops around town and was advised to go that route considering the cost vs gains with a full system.

Also how big is the hole in your muffler? Depending on the damage and hole size you might consider patching it.

your pipes will last nearly forever so leave em alone and just get a magnaflow free flow muffler

The little toy engines don't move enough air to really benefit from an exhaust upgrade, so any parts you replace are basically personal preference. If you want to spend the $$$ on a full system, do it. Just don't expect it to turn into a ground pounder when you're done.

My mustang is fairly quick, fairly loud with the top up. My toy is slow, I prefer it as quiet as possible. Slow and loud just annoys me.

Dont know where you live, but here in the winter the salted roads and salty air eat exhaust systems. If your muffler is rotted out, the pipes probably aren't in great shape either.
I went with the repair route with a new muffler only to discover there was rust holes in the pipes too. Should've just went with a complete cat-back to start with.
I would throughly inspect the entire exhaust before buying just a muffler.

I went with an AFE cat-back and it was easy to install. Kind of loud for my liking but it doesn't leak and it isn't rusty.

I did the full Magnaflow SS cat back system on my ’04 DCV6. Easy to install at home. Fairly expensive. A touch too loud for my tastes.
