Satoshi guys, were you able to fit Hella/KC Lights/etc. behind a normal Satoshi build or did you have to do a thin lip?

I'm in the process of building a Satoshi but need to know this before I go any further.

I've searched through threads but cannot find a straight answer.

Not a thread jack at all, that's a totally valid question

I suggest making the grill insert as flush with the outer grill as possible to allow for deeper lights and light bracket.

I had a deep Satoshi and couldn't fit anything bigger than a 3 inch deep light without issues.

I had it redone but moved all lights and ditched the light bracket but I still have room in case I decide to run another light in there.

Before with deep Satoshi. those are Blitzpro shallow ambers

After with shallow Satoshi. I run just Hella dual tone horns back there for now.

How much did you cut in for the shallow satoshi? 500s are 2.6in deep so I think itll fit with just the regular satoshi. but a 7in light seems like it will fill in the grill nicer.

Is that a bamf light bracket or just a piece of angle bar?

For those that have done this, how are you mounting your lights? BAMF? or custom bracket made you made yourself? I saw that some people were making them with angle bar on the 2nd gens. looking for ideas on how to do it with the 1st gen.
