Yeah, 19 grand!?? Shit! What was msrp? 22..23..grand?
It is low miles but that don't take the years off of it....
Drives me nuts so many people pay that kind of price, it ruins the market. Its like asking you to buy gold at higher than market price. Yeah you're getting gold but??? I don't get it...

On another note those shady bastards at the stealership are ghey for pulling that kind of move!!

That means the po put on less than 2000 miles a year. That's like a tank of fuel every 2 months. Jebus.

There was an '04 dcab w/ 49k miles on it up in Santa Fe about a year ago. The owner was asking kbb: $24k. I verified it and was a bit stunned.

These trucks are worth their weight in gold. I priced out my 2010 with 27,000 miles on Kelley blue book and it came to around $30,000! Almost the same price I paid for my truck when I bought in brand new! lol

Bet that 04 runs better then any 2015-2016 truck from dodge, chevy, or ford!

Wow, mine had 75k when I bought her in November for 13k. I was just so stoked to find one with under 100k miles on it, I thought I'd never be able to do it haha. She has 84k on her now, not one problem. But, there are some things I'm going to do to it this summer: timing belt/water pump replacement, new tires, brake job, and rebuild the rear drive shaft.

Not at all surprised. I've said it before. In my area 1st gens are selling for more than 2nds and a good 03-04 TRD OR will bring pretty close to $20K.

$18,900 is a steal for that truck. Here that truck would have sold for the sticker price or more. But then again 1st Gens in the chicago area are rare due to rust.

I feel like I got a deal on my tacoma just purchased about 3 weeks ago for 15k. Taco DB 4x4(not trd). No rust on frame (southern cali car) with 127.5K miles. The only downfall owner neglected lots of maintence. He only worried about oil changes that he did himself with mobile 1 he had all receipts, but nothing else. 1 owner car.

Sadly, they don't hold their value like Tacomas do. But to the right buyer, yours would be a a gem. If I was looking for another fullsize, I'd be after a first gen Tundra. They aren't ugly like the new ones, and are damn solid trucks that run forever just like Tacos, and I don't think they have the frame rust issues either. You should post a pic of it! I'd love to see it.

    Ha!
Unfortunately Tundras do have frame rust, at least in the Northeast. My brother's planned long-term Tundra ended as a rusty heap buried in the snow at his camp (with a new frame though). Maybe not an issue in Kentucky...

Tundra are too big for an off roader...I was very tempted in getting a tundra, but I need a truck that actually fits in a parking spot.

1st Gen Tundras aren't all that much bigger than the 2nd Gen Tacomas.
