Nope. 2nd gen barely inched out a new Jeep.

^There's probably similar tension between TJ and JK owners.

We pretty much all get along in my experience. CJ, YJ, TJ, XJ, JK, etc.

how about the T50 to signify its really a small truck and its supposed to be a small truck

I want the 30-35 mpg mini trucks we used to be able to buy back in the 80's, cheap affordable transportation for use as a work truck, runabout, or just do everything vehicle that isn't expensive to use or buy and still good for the wife and grandma to go shopping in

all these freakin guys wanting the taco to get bigger and bigger and more powerful should just go buy the damn 13 mpg v8 tundra if that's what they want but instead they cry and cry to Toyota to change the taco to make it a tundra clone and that's what you will end up with, a $40-$50k basic equipt truck and 12-13 mpg and you have to climb into it to reach stuff in your bed.

I dig all Toyota trucks from minis to giant bro lifted trucks. I occasionally kick myself for not going Rubicon this go around.

    Bingo.

I wouldn't. I like the bigger truck and the improved safety features.

No worries bro-sef! I like how the 2nd and 3rd and however many others have more power, but they just are so darn ugly! I bought my 04 dc on feb 14, 2004. 2716 miles on the odo. Now it has 166k and is barely breaking in. If and when tje motor goes, ill just drop another one in.... Point being i will never get rid of it (knocking on wood)!

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Mine has a cassette deck in it, I get use out of it. It has an MP3 player adapter in it that acts just like an auxiliary output, has a fake cassette attached to it with a cord that plugs into my phone and plays my iTunes music. Handy.

This brings the first gen tape player into the 21st century. I have one, and it works good.
