    Hello!

I've got a 99 I brought in from the south last summer.

Been a great truck so far- but I've got a few oddities I'm trying to track down so I can fix them come warmer weather.

On cold days, power steering doesn't seem to work until I rev the engine up a bit, and turn the steering wheel lock to lock. There's plenty of fluid, and the fluid looks OK- so my inclination is to replace the pump. It doesn't whine or anything though- worried it might be the rack. I'm used to manual steering, so I'm at a loss :)
    Suggestions? Common failure point maybe?

The other problem I've got is the sprayer to clean the windshield. My nozzles both clogged the second time I used them.
I cleaned them, put them in, and they worked once before clogging.
Went to check the fluid tank, and the neck broke clean off!
My guess is the plastic doesn't take the florida heat well- up here in Maine, the cold killed it!
Problem is, I can't seem to source a replacement. Rockauto lists tanks for less than $20, but they look nothing like the one in my truck.

Mine seems to be hiding in the wheel well- with a long (maybe 10") neck up to the lid. all the ones I find online for a 99 don't have that, so I'm at a loss.
Would love any information you guys have on that- would like to get a new tank on order!

I think I've found part number 8531504060 for the washer res- much harder to find and more expensive than the 8531504050 that seems to come up in all of my searches.

Any insight on the power steering, or should I just replace the pump?

I'm assuming you checked the P/S belt tension?
