Okay, so ever since i had gotten my truck in July 2013, I wanted to lift it very badly. It took about 1 year for me to get around to actually getting a lift for it (due to the fact of blowing every penny i earned on stupid shit). For several months i was doing re-search on what lift i wanted, how tall, and what i wanted to spend on a lift. I decided I'd go with a 3" lift on a 285/75R/16 A/T Tire, 16" tire to keep stock wheels. So early August 2014 i order Tuff Country's 3" Spacer and Block lift. The lift came in the mail in about 4 days i believe, so the day i got it in the mail, i went right to work on it, on a lift at a shop i work at. I started the install at 3pm and finished and put it back on the ground at about 6:00-6:30pm, so it was fairly easy. LET ME TELL YOU THIS... any time you have to compress your coils that much to fit a spacer on, you should realize that your truck is going to ride like complete shit. The coils are that length for a reason, because that is the length that will ride smoothest. So i'm driving around on it the first few days with no problems, feeling like my truck had been lifted 10" lol. On about the 6th or 7th day i'm cruising through a neighborhood with my windows down, and all i keep hearing is a terrible clanking sound everytime i hit a bump, then i have a buddy drive down the street so i can listen to it. I realized i had literally 0 suspension travel in the front, none, and my ball-joints were blown now (they werent on the day i installed the lift). So to sum it up to now, I have been driving for about 6 months on no suspension upfront, like just solid. The kit also did not include a diff drop kit inside the box either, even though i talked to a rep at Tuff Country and he guaranteed me it would be in the box.
A spacer in your front stock Coilover is the worst way to lift your truck. Also, it takes away all the adjustment on factory control arms, so basically your tires will be towed in, and your tires will be chewed up on the edge, with no way of having a good alignment to fix that.

Now i am currently Buying:
ICON Uniballl Upper Control Arms
Bilstein 5100's and Eibach Springs
New TOYOTA wheel bearings
Bilstein 5100's for the rear
(Maybe take blocks out and do AAL... Haven't decided)

This new setup will cost me roughly $1,750 in parts. It is true, save money and get an actual suspension lift. Don't settle for a cheaper lift just because you're impatient. If i could go back, i'd save my $400 for my Spacer lift, and put it towards my new setup.
A SPACER LIFT WILL RIDE LIKE SHIT, DO NOT PURCHASE.

I'll post some pics of my new setup when i get it all in the mail and installed within the next month or so. Hopefully the arrival of the parts doesn't take too long here, the past 2 weeks mail has been delayed due to snow/ice weather.
